The academization for midwifes in Germany just started and will lead to participation of midwifes in research projects improving knowledge of women’s health and understanding needs for midwife-led care. In my PhD project, I will investigate this perspective and take care of participant recruitment for the HealthyMom-Project. I also work at the Hospital for Women’s Health Tübingen as a midwife. I am passionate working on both sides, in research and with patients at the hospital.
