Academization for midwives in Germany has just started and will enable them to participate in research projects, improving knowledge of women’s health and raising awareness of the need for midwife-led care. In my PhD project, I will investigate aspects of maternal mental health prevention. In addition, I take care of participant counselling as part of the HealthyMom project.
