ERC Consolidator Grant on maternal mental health

Kaufmann has been awarded an ERC Consolidator Grant for his research project “HealthyMom: Modeling and maintaining maternal mental health”. The project seeks to investigate brain plasticity after pregnancy loss, revealing how various factors together affect brain structure and function and targeting an improved understanding of the emergence and manifestation of mental disorders in the brain of the women.
The project is funded with ~2 million euros over a period of five years.
